About Me: For the past 40 years, I've been a percussion teacher, professional performer, adjudicator, and composer. I've performed on multiple percussion instruments with professional orchestras, jazz bands, rock bands, percussion ensembles, and world music ensembles.

  • I hold a Bachelor of Education degree from Montana State University and a Master's in Percussion Performance from the University of Northern Colorado.

  • Since 1989, I have been the percussion specialist at many of the state's best band programs, including Grandview and Cherry Creek high schools.

  • I've been the front ensemble percussion arranger and instructor for several of the world's best drum corps and indoor drumlines, including the Concord Blue Devils, Denver Blue Knights, Blue Knights World Indoor Percussion Ensemble, and the SOKA Renaissance Vanguard in Tokyo, Japan.

  • I served as the Interim Director of Percussion at Colorado State University from 2002-2003.
